STCP reinforces service for the Gondomar Festivals
From October 2nd to 6th and from October 10th to 12th, Gondomar will once again celebrate its traditional Municipal Festivals. To ensure that all visitors can enjoy the various entertainment events with greater comfort and safety, STCP – Porto Public Transport Company, will be strengthening its mobility offerings, offering more frequent and larger-capacity trips.

From October 2nd to 6th and from October 10th to 12th, Gondomar will once again celebrate its traditional Municipal Festivals. To ensure that all visitors can enjoy the various entertainment events with greater comfort and safety, STCP – Porto Public Transport Company, will be strengthening its mobility offerings, offering more frequent and larger-capacity trips.
Reinforcement of Line 800 (Bolhão – Gondomar)
Night Reinforcement
• October 3
From 8:00 PM, bus line 800 will run every 15 minutes between Bolhão and Gondomar. After the concert, the service will be intensified, with trips running until 1:00 AM at intervals of approximately 10 minutes.
After this time, the early morning network will continue to provide connections via line 9M.
• 2, 4, 10 and 11 October
On these days, the reinforcement will focus on the S. Roque – Gondomar axis, between 8:00 pm and 10:00 pm with 15-minute intervals.
On the return journey, after the end of the shows, the service continues until 1:00 am, with the early morning network being responsible for operations from that time onwards, also via line 9M.
Daytime Reinforcement
• 5 October
On Sunday, considered the main day of the festivities, there will be reinforcement special during the afternoon.
• 2:00 pm – 4:30 pm: reinforcement in the direction S. Roque – Gondomar.
• 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm: reinforcement in the direction Gondomar – S. Roque.
• Approximate frequency: 15 minutes.
Accessibility and transport tickets
To facilitate the entry of passengers, STCP will provide a boarding pier next to Largo do Souto, in the center of Gondomar.
The special service can be used with Andante occasional tickets or with the Andante pass that includes zones PRT3 and GDM1 (S. Roque – Gondomar). Alternatively, customers can purchase the ticket directly on the bus, paying in cash or via MB Way.
Through this increased service, STCP ensures more comfortable, frequent and accessible transport, allowing everyone to enjoy the Gondomar Festivities.
