Andante Titles

The Andante is valid on the main public transportation systems in the Porto Metropolitan Area. With the Andante, you can travel on STCP, Porto Metro, CP-Urbanos do Porto, and UNIR. The price depends solely on the route you take, not the mode of transportation or the number of times you board.

For occasional trips Andante

Paper card and not personalized.
Rechargeable with any occasional Andante trip (single and 24 hours).
Can only be used by one person at a time.
Each card can contain several identical tickets at the same time (e.g. 10 Z4 travel tickets).
It is only possible to change the card's contents when its balance is zero.
Available throughout the Andante sales network, including Vending Machines.

For Andante and STCP General Network monthly passes

Personalized (with the name and photo of the holder).
It can only be used by its owner.
Rechargeable with all Andante titles (except Andante Tour).
Sold at Andante stores and CP Ticket Offices.
If they are damaged, they have a 2-year warranty period.
To carry out personalization, you must present your Identity Card or Citizen Card and a passport-size photograph.
Each card can simultaneously contain a maximum of 2 travel passes (one for the current month and one for the following month) and 1 occasional trip.

Onboard Tickets

Pode adquirir o Bilhete de Bordo junto do motorista, através de pagamento em numerário, via MB WAY ou Contactless (apenas nos autocarros de dois pisos na linha 500).

Tem o custo de 2,50€ e é válido apenas para a viagem em que foi adquirido.

How to validate

Validation is mandatory. Always validate your Andante card when starting a trip, when changing lines or transportation, and regardless of your card.

How to validate:

Bring the Andante card closer to the validator at the entrance of the vehicle, within 10 cm of the black circle, and hold the card still. Do not shake it.
If a green light comes on , the validation is correct.
If a red light comes on , the validation was not successful. Repeat the process on the bus's second validator. You can always purchase a Single Agent ticket on board.
