Following the international public tender, launched on July 30, for the acquisition of 50 articulated vehicles (plus 10 optional) for passenger transport, STCP informs that the award to the proposal submitted by competitor UBSI Europa was published this Friday on the Vortal Platform.

The overall value of the awarded contract is €20,795,000.00 (twenty million seven hundred and ninety-five thousand euros) and concerns 50 vehicles powered by natural gas or biomethane. If STCP decides to proceed with the option to acquire 10 more, the final contract value will be €24,954,000.00 (twenty-four million, nine hundred and fifty-four thousand euros).

The delivery of the new vehicles (18-meter articulated type) will take place, in phases, between the end of 2026 and the first quarter of 2027.

These new buses will replace the current 49 articulated buses (20 diesel and 29 Compressed Natural Gas), continuing the renewal of the fleet and guaranteeing a service delivery more environmentally and economically efficient public service. UBSI Europe is recognized for working with some of the industry's leading brands and serves as an authorized service center for Solaris, Iveco, Mercedes-Benz, DAF, MAN, and Scania. It is also the importer for BMC, one of Turkey's leading bus manufacturers, which will produce these new STCP vehicles.
